Founder

Amy has been pole dancing for 3 years

She first got into pole dance after wanting to try something new, and to get some diversity in her weekly workout sessions.

Since joining, she fell in love with pole dance and everything that came with it. She’s passionate about sharing what she has learnt, and after seeing a gap in the fitness industry in Thames/ Hauraki for this, she decided to take the plunge and start up her own courses and studio.

Amy is a firm believer that anyone can dance. Pole dancing offers anything and everything, from exotic flow, tricks or flips, or even just light conditioning, there is something for you. Amy has suffered from a multitude of sports injuries, and currently has a meniscus tear, slipped disc and annular tear in her spine from previous high intensity sport. Despite this, pole has given her the chance to remain active in a fun way. She’s a firm believer that with the correct guidance and support, anyone can be assisted to keep active. In the famous words of her mum, “use it or lose it”.  She is delighted to be sharing this art form with her community and is excited to see it grow.
